A famous engineer from Moclus comes aboard the Orvilleto upgrade the deflectors. He tells Talla that he is attracted to her, but in secret, since being attracted to females is stigmatized on Moclus, and would result in a prison sentence. Klyden confronts him about his sexual orientation, and later becomes the suspect for his murder.
