A "Jane Doe"; covered in blood and suffering from amnesia, steps in front of Cho and Van Pelt's car, and Patrick attempts to discover who she is and what happened, soon finding three additional bodies in a nearby barn. Patrick takes up the job of helping her get her memory back. Through fingerprint identification, the CBI identifies Leonard Railton as one of the victims and follows clues to an Indian Reservation. Markham Willis; a souvenir shop owner, is discovered as the killer and he shot Railton and Camille Dillon (Jane Doe) after they found out that he was dumping toxic waste into the water supply. The other two victims were on a hike and were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Meanwhile, Hightower addresses the issue of the romantic relationship between Rigsby and Van Pelt - she confronts Van Pelt and Rigsby about their relationship and instructs them to either break up or decide which one is be transferred; Van Pelt decides to break up with Rigsby.
