Joe McElderry and Donal MacIntyre battle it out to win a place in the competition after Henry Conway is forced to withdraw. Joe wins and gains a place in the competition. Today's event is the men's skeleton. Steve Redgrave and Darren Gough finish in the bottom two and have to take part in the live ski jump to keep their place in the competition. Steve performs best leaving Darren eliminated from the competition.
