The contestants are taken for a road trip to the Grand Canyon, along with a temptation challenge at a convenience store. While at the landmark site, the contestants must figure a way to work out since there is no gym nearby. The families compete in a kayak challenge for prizes, and one member will need help from the medical staff by the end of the trip. The weigh-in proves to be a surprise shake up and cause a difficult elimination.
