Don and Pauline Scanlon lead busy lives on a smallholding in Hertfordshire so they've travelled to the Costa Blanca to find a holiday home where they can relax. They've bought and renovated in Spain in the past so aren't scared of taking on a property that needs a bit of work. Sophie has lined up some great houses for them to see but soon learns that it's not for nothing that Don's nick name is 'The Negotiator'. 150 miles south, just outside of Almeria, childhood sweethearts David and Pam Rowe are searching for their dream retirement property.
