Tess tries to kill Davis by blowing up his truck, but he survives and she tries to convince him of his destiny. To do so, she must tell him the tale of how there were two children who arrived on the day of the meteor shower: the Traveler and his nemesis, the Destroyer. Davis tries to escape his destiny and turns to Chloe for help.
