A local weatherman is found dead the morning after a tryst and his lover (Jolie Jenkins) is charged with his murder despite her claims of innocence. Shawn is convinced that the defendant is innocent and becomes a legal consultant to her lawyer (Michael Weston) in order to gain access to the case.
