In the summer of 1993, 24-year-old waitress Zilpha Lowery disappeared without a trace leaving her family and the people of Marion, NC scratching their heads. But six months later the investigation takes a turn for the worst when two hunters find her remains in the woods near Lake James. At first everyone believes a family secret sent this loving aunt to her grave but detectives hit a wall and each promising lead after that, goes nowhere.
