A telemarketer hears a murder while trying to sell a long distance call package. The team investigates with the help of a civilian law enforcement team whose personalities seem to be an exact copy of Gibbs and his team. Each team member discovers different crucial facts about the case, leading to the discovery that the murder may not have been all it seemed to be. When Abby and McGee discover that the dead man was using the Navy computer system for his own financial gain, they consult with the people he worked with to see if they can shed light on who may have wanted him dead. But the investigation becomes more intense when the missing Petty Officer is actually found dead and the team find themselves hunting down his killer.
