A six year-old boy is abandoned by his mother (Elpidia Carrillo) in an emergency room after having been shot. Detectives Benson and Stabler look for his missing family members in order to find his shooter, while Munch attempts to get through to the boy. Eventually, it becomes clear that the whole family is in danger.
