An armed and dangerous drug dealer is on the loose in Harlan County, and Sheriff Lipfird is determined to catch him. Sheriff Lipfird and his deputies conduct a thorough search, but the drug dealer is nowhere to be found. Then, on a holiday weekend, Lt. Miron and Deputy Mitch patrol a desolate, rural area on the outskirts of Harlan County, where they investigate a small building riddled with bullet holes.
