The story of the series surround with the LA Florist who find out that her husband of 18 years is gay. Fran felt humiliated when she found out that her husband Peter played John Michael Higgins was gay. She then files for divorce but since their house is not that much worth than what they owe on it, they decided to still live together. When finally their divorce was finalized, Fran met a new guy named Elliot and introduces him to to Peter and her parents.
