2022 - 14: Holly Humberstone & Glass Animals

Clara Amfo and Jack Saunders present two performances from artists who have emerged to great acclaim and success in the last couple of years.

From Grantham, Lincolnshire, Holly Humberstone won this year's BRITs Rising Star award and has recently supported global pop star Olivia Rodrigo on her US tour. She first played the festival on the BBC Introducing Stage in 2019 and is due to release her debut album this year.

Oxford's Glass Animals formed over ten years ago and through constant touring, particularly in the US, found themselves at the beginning of 2022 the first British group to top Spotify's global songs chart, racking up over four million plays on the streaming platform. Expect an energetic set from the quartet led by frontman Dave Bayley and crowd-pleasing songs from their three albums to date.
