After Janice asks whether they’ve ever dated each other, the gang reminisce what their lives was like three years ago: It's the early 1990s, Phoebe is trying to move out of Monica's apartment without her knowing, Ross is still married to Carol. But their marriage hits troubled times when Carol meets Susan. Chandler is looking for a new roommate and must choose between an actor called Joey and a photographer called Eric, whilst Rachel is not part of the gang and is engaged to Barry. But she is freaked out about never sleeping with another man again.
