Joey and Chandler adopt a baby chick. But taking care of the chicken causes them to bicker like a married couple, so they decide to return her. When Chandler returns home, he has not just the chick - but a duck too. Meanwhile, Monica is thrilled when Pete asks her to be head chef at his new restaurant, and she discovers Phoebe knows a secret about Pete that may solve her troubles finding him attractive.
