Christian and Alex's work collides when Dad flies back to Europe for a buying binge that leaves Alex soaked in sweat at the thought of paying off the $70,000 tab Christian ran up while abroad. As a business matter and an issue of principle, Alex hatches a plan to steal Christian's prized 18th century cannon and sell it for $50,000 to teach his dad something about what it takes to pay for his taste in flintlock pistols.
