Barnabas has the mark of Petofi that keeps him from turning into a bat nor materializing/dematerializing. Quentin smuggles Barnabas into Beth's room at Collinwood where Beth apologizes for not coming when summoned due to Petofi. Magda tries to talk Istvan into both fleeing.
