The Terps defeated Towson, 38-6, last week as quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa – the brother of Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa – passed for 260 yards and totaled four touchdowns (three passing, one rushing). Maryland's defense limited Towson to 276 total yards. The Charlotte 49ers opened their season with a 24-3 win over South Carolina State last week.
