The Garvey family are shocked by rumours about a gang that are going about and kidnapping the unwary and stealing their organs. They are further alarmed when Madge goes missing. They send Liam out to buy the ingredients that are needed but things start to go wrong after he brings back a live chicken, which Liam has called Meryl. Trudy attempts to be ladylike for 24 hours in order to win a bet with Sam. After the Garvey family find Madge, the tall dark stranger she is with turns out to be Mohammed, an old friend of Mel's.
