One was diagnosed with cervical cancer when she was 19, one has suffered the death of a child after he fell from scaffolding working as a bricklayer, and another faced the challenge of bringing up a child who needed extra care, and who has suffered potential injuries to his pelvis having been thrown off his motorbike at speed.
