Plot

Winter's Tale is a fantasy supernatural drama film that Colin Farrell, Jessica Brown Findlay, Jennifer Connelly, Russell Crowe, Eva Marie Saint, Will Smith, William Hurt, Ripley Sobo, Matt Bomer, Lucy Griffiths, Finn Wittrock and the stallion "Lasto." It is released in the United Kingdom as "A New York Winter's Tale." The movie centers with Peter Lake (Farrel), a thief who falls in love with Beverly Penn (Findlay), a dying girl who has tuberculosis and occupies one of the houses he breaks into. Lake is saved from the insane Irish gangster Pearly Soames (Crowe) and his henchmen by Athansor, a mysterious white horse who becomes his guardian angel. The film was directed by Akiva J. Goldsman, executive producer of Paranormal Activity sequels and director of several Fox' Fringe episodes. The movie is distributed by Warner Bros and released on Valentines 2014 in the US.
