Plot

The elite mercenaries are back with The Expendables 2 and now they are back for a big revenge when one of them was brutally murdered by their rival mercenary. The film is the sequel to the 2010 film that was known for having a casting of veteran action stars of the 80s and 90s. The second movie is more intensified and more legendary action stars are invited to join the cast. Among of the elite casts of "The Expendables 2" movie are Sylvester Stallone as Barney Ross, Jason Statham as Lee Christmas, Jet Li as Yin Yang, Dolph Lundgren as Gunnar Jensen, Chuck Norris as Booker, Bruce Willis as Mr. Church, Arnold Schwarzenegger as Trent Mauser, Terry Crews as Hale Caesar, Randy Couture as Toll Road, Scott Adkins as Hector, Liam Hemsworth as Bill 'the Kid' Timmons and Jean-Claude Van Damme as Jean Vilain - playing as the main antagonist of the movie. The Expendables 2's plot surround with the revenge of Barney Ross' group against their primary rival Jean when the latter brutally killed Tool (Mickey Rourke). The movie was directed by Simon West and distributed by Lionsgate.
