Plot

The Amazing Spider-Man is a 2012 Spider-man reboot that stars Andrew Garfield playing as Peter Parker/Spider-man (previous films are played by Tobey Maguire), Emma Stone as Gwen Stacey, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Irrfan Khan and Chris Zylka. It is yet another film adaptation of one of the most popular comic superhero character and follows the story of Peter during his high school life and his search for his identity. In the film, the teenage social outcast Peter Parker's search for his past and winning the heart of Gwen Stacy, his high school crush are the focus of the story. He will soon discover various mysteries including a briefcase of his father that abandoned him when he was a child. This will leads him to the former partner of his father, Dr. Connors. Soon the secret of his father will be unravel on the film and will surely shape his destiny in becoming the "Spider-Man." The primary antagonist of the movie is the vicious and vengeful Lizard who was previous Curtis Connors. The movie was directed by Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer) and set to be released in theaters in June 3 in Japan and July 13 in the US.
