Plot

A film based on the novel by Rick Riordan with the same title. Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters is the sequel to the 2010 film Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. Here's the plot summary of the movie: Percy Jackson, the son of the Greek god Poseidon embarks on a journey with his friends to retrieve the Golden Fleece to save their training ground, Camp Half-Blood. They must travel to the Sea of Monsters, and find the challenges that may await them. Stars Logan Lerman as Percy, Brandon T. Jackson as Grover, Alexandra Daddario as Annabeth, Leven Rambin as Clarrise, Jake Abel as Luke, Stanley Tucci as Dionysus and Nathan Fillion as Hermes. It is directed by Thor Freudenthal, the director behind the movies Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Motel and Hotel for Dogs.
