Plot

Pain & Gain is a 2013 action-comedy film that features the tandem of two action movie stars, Dwayne Johnson (Faster, G.I. Joe Retaliation, Journey 2) and Mark Wahlberg (Broken City, Ted, Max Payne). The movie surround with the two body builders in Florida who got caught up in an extortion scheme and kidnapping. The following shows the plot of Pain & Gain movie: Daniel Lugo played by Mark Wahlberg is a regular bodybuilder who works at the Sun Gym along with his friend Adrian Doorbal. Sick of living the poor life Lugo concocts a plan to kidnap Victor Kershaw, a regular at the gym and a rich spoiled business man, and extort him by means of torture. With the help of recently released criminal Paul Doyle played by Dwayne Johnson, the 'Sun Gym Gang' successfully gets Kershaw to sign over all his finances, but when Kershaw survives an attempted murder from the gang, he hires private investigator Ed Du Bois (Ed Harris) to catch the criminals after the Miami Police Department fails to do so. Pain & Gain was directed by Michael Bay (I am Number Four, Transformers, The Rock).
