Lone Survivor is an American war film that stars Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch, Ben Foster, and Eric Bana. The story of the movie depicts the incredible tale of 4 Navy SEALs on a covert mission to neutralize a high-level al-Qaeda operative who are ambushed by the enemy in the mountains of Afghanistan. Mark Wahlberg plays as the author of the first-person memoir "Lone Survivor" (The New York Times bestselling true story of heroism, courage and survival) where the film was based. It surround with the nonfiction story of the events of the failed U.S. Navy SEALs mission called "Operation Red Wings" which happened during the War in Afghanistan, were four SEAL teammates were tasked to capture or kill Taliban leader Ahmad Shah. Other casts are Alexander Ludwig, Yousuf Azami, Ali Suliman, Rich Ting, Dan Bilzerian, Jerry Ferrara, Scott Elrod, Corey Large and Sammy Sheik. The "Lone Survivor" movie was directed by Peter Berg, the director of Battleship and Hancock.
