Plot

Interstellar is a 2014 Christopher Nolan science fiction film that centers with a group of scientists and explorers journey to saving humanity by travelling to a newly discovered wormhole that theoretically let them connect to different space time. Stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Bill Irwin and Ellen Burstyn. When a wormhole (which theoretically can connect widely separated regions of spacetime) is discovered, explorers and scientists unite to embark on a voyage through it, transcending the limits of human space travel. Among the travelers is a widowed engineer (McConaughey) who has to decide to leave behind his two children to join the voyage with the goal of saving humanity from an environmentally devastated Earth. The movie was directed by the award winning director, Christopher Nolan, director of the movies: The Dark Knight and Inception.
