Plot
Deliver Us From Evil is a crime-horror film that stars Eric Bana, Edgar Ramirez, Olivia Munn, Sean Harris and Joel McHale. The movie was based on the novel by Ralph Sarchie entitled "Beware the Night." Deliver Us from Evil is the story of Ralph Sarchie, a New York cop who meets a Castilian/Hungarian renegade priest, Mendoza, when he is pulled into a case -- a case which the priest convinces him, against the officer's religious beliefs, is demonically related. Together, they work to solve the case and combat the paranormal forces working against them. Deliver Us From Evil was directed by Scott Derrickson director of the movies: Sinister, The Day the Earth Stood Still and The Exorcism of Emily Rose.
