Plot

Blended is a 2014 American romantic comedy movie that features the collaboration between Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. It is their third film following their movies: The Wedding Singer (1998) and 50 First Dates (2004). Other stars featured on the film are Bella Thorne as Hillary (Larry) Friedman, Emma Fuhrmann as Espn Friedman, Alyvia Alyn Lind as Lou Friedman, Shaquille O'Neal, Terry Crews, Joel McHale, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Kevin Nealon, Susan Yeagley, and Dan Patrick. The movie follows single parents Jim Friedman (Sandler) and Lauren Reynolds (Barrymore) who after have a disastrous blind date, decided not to see each other again. But when they each sign up separately for a fabulous family vacation with their kids, they are all stuck sharing a suite at a luxurious African safari resort for a week in "Blended." Blended was filmed in Sun City, South Africa; some of the scenes was also filmed near Lake Lanier, Buford and Gainesville in Georgia. The film was directed by Frank Coraci, director of the films: Here Comes the Boom, Zookeeper, Click, Around the World in 80 Days, The Waterboy, The Wedding Singer and Murdered Innocence.
